Registration

Not a user of the library yet? This is how to register.

You must be registered as a user to reserve and borrow physical materials from the library. If you reside in Silkeborg Municipality, you can also use all our digital resources and services.

You will need MitID to complete the registration, and then you use your yellow health card as a personal library card, to which you choose a PIN. You can also register yourself or your child by showing up at one of our libraries during hour staffed opening hours. See more below.

Adults (18 years or older)

Click on the button below, confirm your identity using MitID and afterwards fill the form with your e-mail address, phone number, your chosen PIN to your library user account and your preferred pickup point. You will then need to log in again using either your MitID or Danish ID-number (CPR)  and PIN.
